I soccer ref. I have fractions of a second to look down at my watch for time and look up again. One of things I noticed on the Series 5 is that the timer screen will dim and change to the actual time when not being looked at. I understand this conceptually from a power perspective, but with the Timer app, there should be the ability to always have the time running on the screen without shifting to a power save mode. If anything, keep the Timer on the display, but dim it. It should behave similarly to the Activity app. Anyway....just something I noticed with my new watch today.

I have the timer set up as a complication on my watch face and it constantly shows the countdown on my S4. Did you try setting the timer as a complication or was this removed with the S5?

I'm saying something different. Yes. The countdown will show. But the "issue" is that the timer doesn't appear until the watch is raised, just as if I had a Series 4. I want the timer running on the watch even in the lower power mode when I'm not holding up my hand.
