Series 5 - Not Letting Me Use More Than 16GB for Music

Hi there,

I’m wondering if anyone else is having an issue where on a Series 5 that you can’t sync more than 16GB of music? Plenty of space left see attached images.

Any ideas - no podcasts or audiobooks are syncing as I turned that off.

Your screenshot shows 15.9GB Empty. So you don't have 16GB of music. Try check under general->usage instead and see how much storage Music uses. Series 4 could have around 7.5GB and your screenshots indicate that Series 5 has not bumbed that up, even with twice the storage.

Yea - I misread that one and very true it was worse than I thought :( - I guess that leaves more room for Outcast and Audible (when fixed) to load up content there
 
i am having the same issue! it got to 8.4 GB of music one point, with 15.9 GB remaining storage on my S5 and it stopped. then, i deleted the playlist and tried it again. same thing, stopped at 15.9 free space remaining. i upgraded to watchos beta 6.1 but that didnt solve it. i talked to apple, they said they need logs off my device but i have to downgrade to a public watchos software in order for that to happen, so i gotta take it to apple. i encourage you to call and report this. i find it ridiculous that they would partition only a finite amount for music. we have 32GB of storage, apps are 20 MB on the watch. no one needs 32 GB for apps. furthermore, stop telling me how i can use my storage! if i run out, let me delete some stuff just like on any other device out there.

Series 5 - How Much Music Storage Space?

Can anyone advise on how much music storage space there is on the series 5? I had a series 2 and you could only save up to 2GB of music directly on the watch. It is my understanding that the series 3 and 4 had the same limitation, even on the 16GB models, though I may be mistaken here? Has this...
