Anybody else having this issue? After updating to 10 on my s6, it takes a solid 1-2 seconds for presses from the crown or side button to respond. Apps are also less responsive and laggy. Whole system feels like its running out of ram. And battery life is worse too.

I feel ripped off, this watch ran perfectly all the way up to 9 and now it feels like they forced me to upgrade

Hopefully we get a .X release next month that improves performance

How long ago did you update?

My s7 was pretty bad for the first day but is settling back to normal now. Same for iPad Pro 11 gen1, but iPhone 13PM didn’t exhibit this as much.

Just got done updating my Series 6. It seems to be just as snappy as before.

Loving the new watch faces! Unfortunately, it looks like Apple have reverted to no longer being able to simply swipe left or right to switch them. Really liked this feature as I switch between faces quite often.

Go to settings on your watch, then accessibility > button click speed then change to default.
I had the same issue as you and this solved it. (What it does is that your Apple Watch waites for you to press again cuz he thinks that you try to get to the app switcher thing.)
Hope it helps!

After using my Series 6 with watchOS 10 for the past two days, I must say I’m very pleased with how smooth it continues to run. And because all the new watch faces (which I love) are available to me, I’m likely gonna stick it out at least another year. I was hoping the Series 9 would bring back titanium but since that never happened, I’ve no reason to upgrade.

yeah watch is running great now and i turned off animations so its even faster now

will ride this into the ground or until watch X
