Curious if anyone else is seeing more wiggle in their crowns on the series 6. My series 5 was pretty solid. Series 6 not so much. Works fine, but definitely more wiggle to it. I guess it’s not a huge deal, but it annoys me.

it’s nothing to be concerned with. I’ve owned 7+ Apple watches and some of them did have a different tolerances for side-by-side play with the digital crown. Some of them were more ‘clicky’ and others were more ‘cushion-like’ when you pushed the digital crown without that feedback sound, and I think this is just when you own a mass produced tech item, you’ll never have the same tolerances versus something that was actually handmade.

My Apple Watch Digital Crown also has that kind of wiggle.
it very subtle, to the point that if you gently tap the crown it feels solid, no play nor rattle.
it is just noticeable when you grab the crown between your thumb and index and do that seesaw movement. I wonder if it not due to the specificities of the crown design.

My Graphite SS Series 6 has the same amount of wiggle. My wife’s Gold SS Series 6 does not. Her Digital Crown also has more of an audible click than mine.

is it normal after all? Because to be honest i’m facing the same issue on my apple watch series 5 and it’s worrying me.

Never actually noticed up till this moment but aparently I have this wiggle on a crown of my brand new S6 SS. Once I noticed that, I tested all available units in my house. My wife's S6 Alu Nike (4 months old) and my jogging S5 Alu (over a year old) both show this wiggle. Also went this weekend to the official Apple Store in my hometown for a visit and while there, tested all their display S6 & SE models and all of them 44mm & 40mm had this wiggle.
Haven't had a chance to test any SS or Ti versions but at least abt. 10 units I could try had this effect.

I guess it is safe to confirm that it is normal behaviour?
