Series 6 Display - Apple Logo suddenly appears.

I saw this on my new Series 6 Graphite watch. I was wearing it like normal with my display showing. Suddenly the apple logo appeared for about 10 seconds, and then it went back to my regular watch display. Has anyone noticed that before? I updated to 7.0.1 and did a reboot and it hasn't done it again. I noticed it happened at least twice yesterday. I'm guessing it's another SW quirk.

That's called a spontaneous reboot. i.e. your watchOS crashed and the watch rebooted.

It's happened to me a couple times on 7.0.0 and once on 7.0.1

Presumably it'll be fixed in a future release.

Ok good. Thanks for the info. Was hoping it was SW related. Otherwise, Series 6 has been very solid.

It’s happened to me once on 7.0.1. I thought it was probably a spontaneous reboot but it was only on screen for a second, maybe 2 at most. Spontaneous reboots are bad but WatchOS sure does boot quickly I’ll give it that!

Mine was doing this and I read that turning off WiFi might help. It did for me (I don’t think it worked for everyone but might be worth a shot) and I don’t usually keep it on WiFi anyway.
