Just wondering what the point of the incline reading is? When rotating the watch to look at it, it goes from 0 deg (when flat) to 54 deg then to 0 again as I tilt it to look at it. And if tilting it the other way it goes to about 54 degrees then about -83 deg. Bizarre, to me anyway.

What is the point?

If the watch is within about 50 degrees from flat, the incline is the angle from the flat position.

If the watch is more than 50 degrees from the flat position, the incline is the angle of a vertical line on the watch face from true vertical. You can see a little grey pendulum arrow drop down showing the true vertical.

Thanks for that. I’d not noticed the grey pendulum/arrow till you mentioned it as I was only concentrating on the incline reading rather than the compass image too. Makes more sense now
