Series 6 SS Paired as Aluminum?

Anyone have an issues with their series 6 stainless steel showing in the Watch app as aluminum?

Apple Watch app detecting my series 6 as aluminium

Glad I’m not the only one! Mine is registering as the same. I’m also having issues activating with Verizon. It keeps saying device incompatible and when I called them they said the IMEI number couldn’t be found. So now I’m waiting for Apple to call me back. Ugh.

Yes, mine is also showing as Aluminum in the iOS 14 Watch app.

I talked to an Apple Senior Specialist and she passed it onto Engineering for review.

lol I wish I had seen this on Friday or Saturday! I just noticed that problem today and spent some time chatting with a apple support. He found out after a while that it was a software issue that they are working on. Now, I am trying to find out what happened to the watch face I had set up. I swear it isn't there anymore!

I have the problem too. But worse. In the security and privacy section of MacOS, which lists the Apple Watch to unlock your Mac, I have two watches listed with the same name. One says aluminum. The other says stainless steel.
