Hi

Anyone using the MagSafe Duo on a regular basis with the Series 7 Watch?

Could fast charging have any utility for me, if I generally charge over night? I don’t do sleep tracking. I tend not to sleep with the Watch, but won’t rule that out either.

Is it worth getting the Belkin 3 in 1 fast charger, if I don’t have AirPods?

can't comment on the MagSafe duo other then it's been mentioned in other threads that it does NOT support fast charging.
imho, fast charging is only useful when you do need to charge during the day, eg when you wear your watch for sleep tracking, fast charging over night has no benefit.

@jz0309 is there any advantage of the MagSafe charger vs the Duo, if I am charging over night? I have both so purchase is not an issue. I am using the Apple 30w charger, which charges my iPhone 13 PM at 14W when I use the Duo.

The advantage of the duo I see is that you have less clutter at your nightstand…
Me, I charge my 13PM over night too, so no need to fast charge, I actually use an older Anker wireless charger for the phone and my S0 (or S3) charger for my S7. Again, for me me, I don’t have the need for fast charging so I will stick to my older accessories.

One advantages if the Duo, beside less cables and plugs, is that I can flip the watch charging puck up and I find it easier to charge the Watch with my Milanese Loop band, since I can spread the band out. With a standard puck the band bunches up horribly b/c of the magnet.

Good point, there have been numerous posts about that band causing scratches for a variety of reasons. I actually only wear (Nike) sport bands so no issue with those ?

The three bands I wear are the Milanese Loop, the Sport Loop and the Leather Link. Leather can be “hit or miss” for me, given my skin issues, although I have so far had no adverse reaction from the leather link. I can’t wear the sports band types.

Makes sense, as I ride a spin bike every day I’m dealing with sweat so leather bands are a no, I tried the loop but they don’t dry up fast enough after the shower so the Nike sport bands work best for me…

I use the MagSafe Duo every night to charge my 13P and my Watch S7. I don't do sleep tracking. I don't usually sleep with my watch on. I don't have AirPods. I charge overnight so I don't really care about fast charging. I also like that I can flip the Watch puck up for nightstand mode. Works great for me.
