The 45mm watch has a larger battery but does this translate to longer battery life? Or is this negated by the larger screen? I just upgraded to an S7 45mm from an S5 40mm and it feels too large. Wondering if I should get the 41mm or find some justification to keep the 45mm. Any thoughts?

Yep last a big longer. Just like the larger iPhones lasts longer than the smaller iPhones. But how much do you use the watch? If it mostly just acts like a watch and notification hub then I assume 41mm will have more than enough battery.

I basically use it at the gym to listen to music. I go about 3 days before charging my S5. So, I guess it doesn't matter in my case...

I can't find any direct comparisons of battery life testing between sizes, but I'd think driving the (~55%) additional pixels in the display of the 45mm would outweigh the ~8.8% additional battery capacity between the 41 & the 45. Not saying the 41mm would be better for battery life. I suspect the larger display eats up enough for the two to probably be roughly equal.

I'm going to return the 45mm and get the 41mm instead. My wrists are not that big and it looks quite ridiculous on me.
