in the modular watch face , whenever i set the hourly weather conditions complication in the large middle slot of the modular watch face , i've noticed that the complication never seems to update . it says ''loading weather'' for most of the time and rarely actually shows any weather data.i've been noticing this on my series 7 gps model from the past few months and i really was hoping that watchos10 would have fixed it. the weater widgets placed in the samrt stack also never seem to update and keep giving me the same message saying''loading weather''.

already several threads about this, plus an article on the front page

i managed to fix most of the issues the weather app was causing by resetting location data ..now all of the smaller circluar weather complications work as intended barring the larger hourly weather conditions widget . it keeps saying ''loading weather'' on the larger widgets .

Neil is right. The issue he's referring to predates Watch OS 10.

I have had the same problem with Watch 7, under OS 8.

What works is sliding to a different Watch face, say the “Modular” one, where I have temperature, sunshine, and AQI along the bottom. I slide there, weather info updates immediately, and when I slide back to the Infograph Modular, with the several hour forecast in the middle, that updates immediately!

Wonder if that helps with Watch OS 10…

yes! you're absolutely right ! i've had this issue since WatchOS 8 too !
Unfortunately , the sliding to a different watch face method doesnt work on the latest watchos 10..
it's actually worse with WatchOS 10 , it says ''loading weather'' for way too long now without any actual weather data .

That's too bad! Now, have you tried switching between those two specific Watch faces — Infograph Modular and plain old Modular?

Of course, switching faces is no picnic in OS 10 from what I’ve read! Swiping or sliding is so easy!
