Series 8 buying advice

I'm shopping for 41mm Series 8 and Amazon now offers $309 for black model

Is it best deals in next 3 weeks or there will be tendency to drop? if you can share last year trends somehow?

I also would like to purchase the series 8 stainless steel coming from series 6 and I will wait about 3 to 4 weeks and on Ebay I will find new series 8 under 500 or maybe around 450

I posted Amazon's prices for the aluminum models on Prime Day, this past July. (linked below.) I know they will have another Prime Day in October (date TBA), so I would wait until then. They might not have a big selection of Series 8, but they might have a discount on Series 9.
