Which js better for the Series 8: Silver or Starlight?

Neither is better, it’s personal taste. I went with silver.

In real life they are more similar than they appear in photos. Starlight has a slight beige tint. I think silver goes with more bands, being more neutral.

I had an S6 silver a few years ago but wanted a 7 when they came out. Silver was replaced by Starlight which I liked at the time. To me it had a touch of gold depending on the lighting. Last month I traded my 41mm watches for 45s. I traded the S7 starlight for the S8 silver. I'm back to liking the straight up silver. I have the midnight leather magnetic band on it and it looks sharp. As mentioned, it's all personal choice. There is no right or wrong. Enjoy.

No such thing as better. Completely subjective.

My first apple watch was s2 silver, then s4 black, now se2 starlight. I personally like the starlight little more because it has that almost gold like tint in certain lightning. Silver is not bad either, and maybe I will cycle to that one next again haha

I got plain old black. I saw starlight in Best Buy after I bought black and wished that I’d gotten the starlight. No enough to return the black but if I’d had it to do over, I would have gone with starlight.

Check them out in person if you can. Starlight looks awful in Apple's promotional shots, but it's actually quite nice in person.

I struggled when I got mine but ended up with starlight instead. Online promotional photos don't do justice because is actually very nice in person.

My Mrs just got the Starlight S8 and I really like it, looks warmer than the standard silver.
