So, I've done a huge amount of searching over the past couple of days but can't find a fix!
Upgraded my boss' laptop to Mavericks on Thursday last week. On Friday all of a sudden his mail went mental! He uses a combination of IMAP and POP3 accounts, none of which are Googlemail (Seemingly most people's problems). They are all hosted on our internal server with our own domain names. All of his IMAP accounts are as you would expect, fine. His POP account on the other hand is ****ed.
The problem is nothing like I've seen through our week or so of searching. He uses the folder system in the sidebar of mail a hell of a lot for organising client invoices and important details. All of a sudden the folders have disappeared along with the e-mails inside them.
I've been into the mail library and found some of the e-mails hidden away in some very strangely named folders. I moved these e-mails into new folders and now mail can seemingly find them. From looking through the folder structure in more detail, I can't seem to find any more e-mails.
Suggestions? We've tried everything from basic rebuilds to full re-builds.. Time machine the whole lot and it's got us nowhere!
