Serious Question for Arn and the Mac Rumors Crew

Are we going to have an "iPad Tab & Section" like the iPhone.
Would be nice to be able to keep iPad info separate from the pack.

I'm surprised iPhone stayed on top that long. That said, there are no other devices (MB, MBP, MP, etc) on the top.

What left hand side rail are you referring to?
 
I don't really see the need to have a separate tab for the iPad at the top. Afterall the iPod Touch doesn't have one, nor do the MacBooks/Mac Pros etc. etc.

I believe the iPhone tab could be renamed to encompass the mobile "app store capable" devices e.g. cover the iPhone, iPod Touch and the iPad as rumors in one category will generally be of interest/have an impact for each of those categories.

Similar story for the left hand section of the homepage really.
 
hes talking about on the right side of the front page...having iPad as its own section. and i second the motion. I figured it was being worked on as we speak.

That section is actually arn's iPhone blog area. It was made when arn decided to start an iPhone blog. I'm guessing he will probably be changing it sometime in the future when he gets enough info on it. The iPad hasn't even gone on sale yet.

i think we are talking about different things.

for me, when i go to macrumors.com, on the right side of the page, each major discussion section is listed with the most recent 5-6 threads. The OP just wants to know when iPad will show up there.

I see what you're talking about now. The OP's post about the "Tabs" confused me.

But like I said before I'm guessing arn will change that soon.
