When intel release chips worth upgrading too, that are suitable for apples needs, so sometime the middle of next year would be my guess.

Only Apple knows, but they're tied to Intel's chip schedule. We'll not see anything until Intel rolls out their next gen chipset

Lots of leaks and some saying they confirmed with retailers that the desktop chips launch October 5th

I would hope it wouldn't be too long after for the high performance laptop chips to be released. Kind of weird there doesn't seem to be any info on these. I would say optimistic an end of Q1 launch. More realistic is probably WWDC in June.
