Has anyone else been having problems with Safari hanging up on certain sites? I can get a page to come up, but it hangs and fails to complete. At this point Safari status is "application not responding" and only way to get out of it is to force quit Safari. I am running Safari 2.0.4 on OS 10.4.10.

This doesn't happen on all sites, but it always happens to me on the amazon.com mainpage (but not pages bookmarked from within the site). It also happens on any page on abc.com.

Everything else seems to be working fine except this. As a Mac user, I'm not used to looking for viruses. Could this be what's happening? I have my Firewall on and all file sharing off, so I think I'm protected. HELP!

I think it's Shockwave Flash 9.0 r45 (according to the installed plug-ins menu).
