I know there's a bunch of threads about the new icon being ugly and while I don't disagree I'm seriously disappointed with the lack of color in the application. My playlists, preferences, everything. It's all great. I pay over 2000 for a macbook pro with a high resolution display so I can look at itunes in grayscale. This isn't an apple II. Before some of you say there's some color. I know there's a little here and there but come on. Apple is better than this. Also, I don't mind the stoplight buttons being vertical but then change the rest of iLife and native mac apps. I just want consistency.

End Rant.

I agree for the most part. FYI, you can add the color back, but it is unfortunate that it was taken out in the first place. If you go through the long thread in the news forum about iTunes 10 someone posts how to do it.

you payed 2000$ to look at itunes icons?

wow. way to miss the point of my post. I'm saying for the amount of margin in a macbook pro and pretty much every other mac product they could have put more than a kindergarten effort into this icon.

I'd also like to point out that the new oversized volume bar is quite ugly. It is unnecessarily fat.

How many of you have gone into iTunes and clicked on: Provide iTunes Feedback?

If you look closely, it is not possible to leave feedback for iTunes 10. iTunes 9.0.1 is the most current version on the list.

I just tried that iTunes 109 thing that adds all the colour back into iTunes and it worked great.

Are you people ever happy? For craps sake, go outside or something. It's a freaking computer program.

you paid over $2000 USD for a notebook computer? Uncle Steve is just raking in the dough

Yes I did notice that. I also noticed there is no iPhone 4 or iPad option. I mentioned that along with everything else, except the icon, which does not bother me.

have you looked at pricing for a 17" macbook pro? It doesn't even start under 2000. calm down. Its the best computer I've ever owned and I'm not upset about. people keep trying to change the subject.

I know I'll get my head chopped off for asking this, but is there something similar for the PC version? Yes, I did google it, and yes, my next computer will be a Mac, but unless someone has $2000 they wanna give me for a new iMac, "Buy a Mac" is not currently a good answer. :D

While I agree with you, the irony is that you are saying this pearl of wisdom while spending your time in a forum that's about computers and their software.
