Seriously, third-party case makers, where are you?!

We've had the entire teardown of the iPhone 4 by Gizmodo, with multiple leaks, photos, videos, part suppliers handling iPhone 4-related stuff.

All the major case companies, Belkin, Marware, Griffin, Case-Mate, etc., had all the time in the world to put something together. They know the exact dimensions, they know the shape.

Yet, many of us are on the eve of receiving our iPhone 4's, all of these manufacturers have their iPhone 4-related products listed as "coming soon," "out of stock," and "unavailable." Seriously, what's the matter with them?

Are they prohibited from selling their products until Apple releases the iPhone 4? Doesn't any of these companies want to have the advantage of being first to market?

I don't want to waste $2-3 for some thin sloppy silicone coming from China on an eBay auction in 2-3 weeks.

I'd hate to do this to Apple, but I think I'll just buy their bumper case and swap it out or return it in a week's time. I'd rather just go with something, but these manufacturers are giving us nothing.

Im probably going with the Marware case or the Incipio feather. I too wish they were selling BEFORE the phone that way we can have it and put it into a case right out of a box.

Screw it, I took a leap to my local Best Buy and grabbed a Griffin Reveal. Nice and simple, protects the rear glass from the inevitable scratching. $25.

I'm gonna post a pic with my little addition/customization to it. I think you guys might like it.

Are those like the casemate gelli and incipio npg? Where its like some kinda rubber plastic hybrid and it'll slip right into your pocket without catching on everything like regular silicon cases?... or is it just a silicon case lol?
