Seriously Weird FaceTime Bug

Hey,

So I'm on my phone (iP7+ iOS11b9) talking with my wife (iP7+ iOS11b9), and I wanted to show her our son who was doing something fun. I tapped on the FaceTime icon, however instead of my wife what I saw was some Italian Guy saying "pronto"! and all the time I could hear both of them...

Any suggestions about the possible reasons for this?

yeah, I should have expected answer like that...
when I saw the guy I hung up and redialed the iCloud account - this time FaceTime I got correctly connected with my wife... now I'm concerned about the FaceTime protocol integrity, how is it even possible - getting connected with some random stranger?
