Server Connection

Hey there,

I'v got a macbook pro running :apple: Mac OS X 10.6.8 :apple:

I have rented a Dedicated server from a server host.

Me and my friend where setting it up but I never managed to connect, he's got a pc. After I tried connecting to several other servers via, terminal, x11, zoc6 I never managed.

But my friend who's got a pc always did.

I'm not sure wether It's a problem specific to my computer.

Any Help with this issue would be great :)
