I'd like some advice...
My background with servers goes back a few years. I don't use Windows - it's just.... Yuck. I worked for five years at an ISP and came to love Cobalt Raq servers. Easy to configure and use. Easy to maintain and update. Then Cobalt sold to Sun, and ultumately Sun killed off the line.
Their last act was to opensource the Raq code, which is Linux-based, and it continues to this day as BlueQuartz. I run BlueQuartz on my PC server here. I have three retired Cobalt Raq 4i's too.
But what I really want is that functionality on OS X. Performance-wise, my macs would make great servers, but I've found the server edition tools to be overly complex and hostile to someone who just wants easy set up of virtual hosting and mailboxes, plus the occasional SQL database. If I can't get results in five minutes, or at least make progress, I am very inclined to give up.
What options are their for server management front-ends for my Mac? I've googled and yahood and found nothing. Not one single thing.
