Ok at my school we're running OS X.3.9 Panther Server. Well the other day it crashed (Friday Morning to be exact). The previous day I launched an image on 20 Machines via NetRestore on the Server via NetBoot. Well, Friday, the Server couldn't see itself. It couldn't see anything. No one could connect to it, etc. Well, I tried all day to figure it out. When I booted from the back up, I went into Workgroup Manager and tried to add an exported users list. When I did that, all of the Users in that list disappeared and root was deleted. Yes, root. Well, I booted back up into the original and its still messed up, the users are all in there, but the Server can't find itself, even with a local ip (127.0.0.1). All of the client machines can ping it, but the server just won't see itself to register itself and to use AFP and all those fun things. Anyone know what the problem is?
