Service fix?

I have a case like the draco IV, and yes it kills my service.
But i heard that if you put tape or something over the antenna then it shouldn't affect your service....has anyone tried this or heard it or know of another way to fix the service problem?

In simplistic terms... whomever told you that is a liar.

As with most Aluminum cases you can expect a loss in signal strength, it's just the way it is. Some give it less of a hit than others but *usually* there's a hit.
