Service in and around Troy/Albany NY

Hey I'm looking to pick up a new IPhone but want to see how well AT&T service is in my area. Anyone in this area or close by have any info. Thanks.

Sorry, cannot comment on your service, but I do have an iPhone 3G in Syracuse, NY and love it. This is the coverage map. According to this you should have great regular cellular and 3G coverage. AT&T has done a ton around NY towards expanding their 3G network. Good Luck!

My grandfather has a house out by Troy Country Club and I never have service there but in other parts of Troy I haven't had a problem

i always had service in the troy area and albany 3g all around.

I live and work in the Capital District. Service in downtown Albany is good. I live 5 miles Southwest of downtown where service is fair. In Slingerlands, which is less than 2 miles from my home, service is practically non-existent.

I can't speak to what service is like in Troy. I don't go there.
