According to Apple's System Status website, the App Store, the Apple TV, Apple Music, and the Mac App Store are currently experiencing service issues.

Many Apple customers have also been complaining of App Store issues on Twitter, Reddit, and other social networks. Affected customers are unable to download apps and in some cases, can't load the App Store at all.

Service interruptions have been ongoing since approximately 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time and there's no word on when service will be fully restored.

The issues could potentially be related to the release of Super Mario Run and the strain that it is causing on the App Store due to its popularity.

Oh man I've been playing the crap out of Mario all evening. Idk where it downloads extra data from, but so far it has used 96MB.

Fun game but I'm kinda pissed that I can't play it on my iPad in the evening without shelling out another $10. Actually IDK if I even can because when I try to tie that to my existing Nintendo account it blocks it saying it's already connected, so it wouldn't even sync (which isn't that the whole point?) so I'd have two different save games.

Anyway, this might be the first time I've run my iPhone 7 battery down to nothing since my initial break in. This is going to be a popular game!

Probably explains why my little brother couldn't replenish his egg incubators in Pokemon Go

You can redownload the in-app purchase on multiple devices with the same AppleID for free.

I did it on my iPhone and iPad and got the pop up saying I can redownload it for free because I already purchased it.

Since yesterday 12/14 or possibly the night before my Apple TV has been saying "unable to download" with various applications. When this happens it's stops whatever is happening and forcing me to choose retry or "done" It's repeatedly giving this error making it impossible to watch Sling, Netflix or Hulu.

I thought that was usually the case but I thought I read something about them restricting it somehow because it's more like buying in-game currency than unlocking it. The way it was setup and the higher price made me hesitant.

I completely agree. I was a little nervous as well because of no "restore purchase" button. But if it charged me 2 times for my two devices with my same AppleID, I would have contacted Apple Support for a refund. If you own two Nintendo systems you don't have to buy the disk twice. So I'm glad its not treated as currency but as an actual unlocking of something, like removing adds.
