Session Could Not Be Started With iPhone

Having this issue on iTunes. I also have never been ever able to restore the phone on my MacBook Pro. It's not the phone, because I'm able to back it up and also restore on my iMac. It's a bit of a pain because my iMac isn't at my apartment, it's at my parents house.

What can I do to fix this?

The iPhone can only be synced with one computer at a time. As far as I know .

No I don't have MobileMe. I'm not trying to sync with more than one computer. I was on 4.0.2 and was able to sync and backup with my MBP, upgraded to 4.1, and now can't back up or sync with my MBP. I've never had a problem before and I've always had to restore or update on a different computer than my primary computer.

Ahh. Did you upgrade to 4.1 through your iMac ? That could be it.

i have the same problem. i upgrade iPhone 3G to 4.1, but now i cant sync my contact, mail accounts, , is there any solution please? i tried changing time zone but still cant sync.
