THAT is the message I get when I try to install WinXP Home Edition on my Macbook Pro using Bootcamp from Leopard (which I just got). I've called both Microsoft and Mac and NO ONE can help me (I really feel like someone should be aweomse and set up a hotline for those of us who seem to be falling into the cracks--I'd do it, except I'm not stellar when it comes to computers). I don't know what to do. Everytime that message comes up, it says that there may be something wrong with my hard/software. Well, there's nothing wrong with my harddrive (hardware?). Mac made me run a test for it, searching for errors, and apparently, everything is clean. So, the problem, I'm guessing, is with the XP. What should I do?? I'm figuring that worse come sto worst, I can always return this Windows and buy a new disc?? The only reason I need Windows is cause my school is STUPID (whole other issue that I'm not going to write here)
