Set as Apple Watch face not working?

I have to change the face, using the watch.

This has happened before, but I can’t remember how I rectified it.

Anyone else noticed this?

Edit: It just started working again.

They added a setting in last years OS, you have to Long press to bring up the face swapper.
There's an option to bring back the old way, which was just a swipe.

it's in the clock section of settings, in both the settings app on the watch, or the watch app on the phone .
