I have a Dell Ultrawide monitor (which is great, very pleased with it) but when I set the Mac Studio to sleep and then turn off the Dell, the Mac will awake again.

If I left the Monitor on, it pops up with a scanning for signal alert every now and then.

I did try and sleep the Mac and switch off the monitor at the same time, which worked but is a hassle to time correctly.

Anyway around this? I've been shutting down the Mac every evening - that's ok to do?
