Resolved Set Password to get into single user mode

Hey everyone,

I need to know how to set a password if someone is trying to get into single user mode. It is possible to make an admin account in single user mode and people have been doing this and I need it to stop. Any way to do this? It's an iMac running 10.5.8

Apparently this can be done by setting an open firmware password which can be set using an os x disk.
