I have combed thru the forums for a ways to set the "Reply-to" address and I am overwhelmed with all the different scenarios. So here is my very simple case:
I have my own domain: me@mydomain.com. Mail to this address is forward to my gmail account: me@gmail.com. I edited the "Send Mail" option in my gmail account to set "Reply-To" to me@mydomain.com which is my default gmail account. I have also checked "Always reply from my default address (currently me@mydomain.com)". So when people reply to emails composed from my gmail account, it's automatically set to me@mydomain.com.
Now on my iPhone, I have created an account using the "canned" Gmail configuration, not "Other". I can no problem reading or sending email (except for the normal annoyances with reading email twice, getting a send copy automatically, etc).
My only issue is that emails sent from the iPhone (both from the mail app and email phone) have my gmail address, not my "Reply-To" domain address. Can someone please shed some light on how to solve this?
Thanks in advance for your help.
