Hi guys,

I will be switching my iphone 5S 32gb for an iphone 6 64gb as I'm sure many of you are (I've never upgraded after just a year but that's an other issue). Now my iPhone 5s, while working great has had some battery issues which the apple store kept saying is a software rather than hardware issue (I believe them). I restored from new etc but never really fixed it.

Now my question is this: when I get the iphone 6, is it best to set up as new rather than restore from old, in order to avoid any potential issues. Of course little things will be annoying, setting up wifi etc but it may be best to set up as new, am I correct? Or will it not make a diff?

if they tested the battery and ruled that out then just start fresh,..

Did they test it for you at the store? via diagnostics?

Yup they did via diagnostics. I couldn't get a good look at it but it seemed to be in the green section and they told me it was not a hardware issue.
