i have a 6 and this may be the first time since the first iphone that i may not upgrade every 2 years. The only reason I always upgrade is battery, speed and the new iphone always looks different. I have an apple battery case but as far as speed goes, will it be somewhat faster if i set up iphone as new? I've never done that. What exactly is the difference between new and backup? Thanks

I always set up my iPhone as new. iCloud always syncs my contacts back, I found since owning the first iPhone do have the fastest trouble free experience is too start with a clean slate. No old cache, files, etc..
