Need advice. I do have a ActionTec GT724R modem now for my CenturyLink DSL internet service. Will i need another modem/router with wi-fi capability for my new iPad Mini? If so, can you advise which model to buy for this setup?

Since the ActionTec GT724R doesn't have Wi-Fi, yes, you'll need a Wi-Fi enabled router to use the iPad mini.

Was it provided by Century Link? If so, you may give them a call and see about swapping it our for one that has wireless capabilities. Century Link states you can get it from them by either leasing it from them for 4.95 a month, or purchasing a wireless adapter for 39.99.

To the second poster, thanks for all the help.

Thanks HazyCloud. Called CenturyLink & am waiting for a reply.
