SetAlphaValue no longer works in leopard?

Hi guys.

I have 10.5 installed and find one of the most helpful tools in my arsenal no longer to work.

I use SetAlphaValue along with WriteRoom to enjoy my desktop pictures while I do my writing. Sadly, I can no longer find a way to get setalphavalue to install and work (at all). I was wondering if anyone was having similar problems, and knew of a solution.

http://www.mparrot.net/downloads/setalphavalue.zip is the download of set alpha value bundle, in case any hackers here might want to take a look for an easy fix.

setting application window transparency

i would also like to be able to set the transparency of all applications "above" the desktop.
