setting a default program to open by extension

In new to the mac realm so bear with me.

I installed a hex editor, and it wants to open all of my DMG files.
How do I get my .dmg extensions back to thier default application?

Kinda feel lame, posting this. But i'm stumped.

select any old dmg file and get the info, right click --> get info, or select the file and apple+I. Then in the info window there is a subsection called "Open With:" goto that section and select the "DiskImageMounter.app" (which I believe is the defaulted one). Then hit the "change all" button, which should make a nice popup asking if you wanna really want to change all and say yes. That should work.
