well i want my macbook emac and imac to be in a network type thing where i can connect to my imac on my emac when i go in network, basically clicking on the imac or w.e it may be when i hit network how do i do this?

setting computers up in network

if they are sharing the same wireless network, then they should show up in the finder under the shared section of the finder sidebar. do you want to connect and share files or what?
For this to work, on each computer you want to access remotely, you must turn on "File Sharing".
You do this by going (on each computer you want to access over the network) into System Prefs -> Sharing. Then they will show up in the side panel.
