Hi,

I've recently purchased a 2012 13" MacBook Air, I've now just got an Mini Display/Thunderbolt to HDMI cable to hook up my Mac to the TV.

I've never had this working as a two monitor display before, my old MacBook just mirrored.

I've got the screen setup etc, but the resolution is setting incorrectly and I can't find a way to set it to the TV's correct resolution.

The TV resolution is 1366x720. However when I plug in the MacBook Air, it automatically sets to 720p, but this is making the picture slightly bigger than the TV screen, i.e. it's not showing the menu bar for example (I've set the TV as the primary screen).

There's a resolution option for 1360x720, but this only displays in NTSC, but being in the UK the TV is PAL.

I can't work out how to set the TV to display the whole screen correctly, so any advice on what I need to do to get this to work would be really appreciated.

Thanks
