I have some strange problem when setting pictures from Aperture 3 as wallpapers. For some reason they are not displayed in the full resolution Aperture 3 shows. For example a photo with a pixel size of 2048x1362 will be displayed much smaller (on my 1920x1080 iMac 21.5" screen).
See attached screenshot.

Any ideas as to what might cause this? Any help is appreciated.

What pixel size do you have set for Aperture to generate Previews at? As I'm pretty sure that's what gets used for wallpaper...
 
Try changing the drop down box from center to fill screen

Thanks for the advise, but that's not what I meant. If I use "fill screen", it will just scale the picture up to my native resolution and thus make it blurry.
Using the "center" option will leave it at the actual resolution, which is what I want.
