Hello! My Synology Diskstation (DS3516xs) and my Macbook Pro exist on the same network for internet - they connect to the same router - and I also have them connected via the SFP+ card on the DS3615xs ---> Sonnet 10GbE SFP+ to Thunderbolt adapter on the Mac giving me a 10GbE network service. I want to guarantee the Macbook Pro connects over the 10GbE media and sometimes it seems to choose to connect over the standard wireless-->router-->gigabit route which is irritating. Is there a way to disable file sharing of any kind in Mac OS over a network adapter while still letting it access the internet? How would you fix this?

In case it helps anybody else... I think I solved it by turning off TCP/IP on the 10GbE connection, making it first so the computer goes for it first, but can't get internet so it goes for #2, Wifi.
