Okies here's the question, can I configure my mac which has an usb wifi card on one side and the ethernet on the other side to only share files and folders to the ethernet side of things?
I use the usb key to connect to the internet. my mac then shares it with my home network:rolleyes: (so far so good all my computers have internet, but the afp address defaults to whatever IP I get assigned from the internet side of things while my internal side has a fixed ip address.
However
A. this is causing my afp ip to default to my internet one and
B this means I'm sharing with the world. I want to lock that down! I only want to share with the internal ip address range and I don't want the internet side of things to be able to even see the other file-sharing stuff. i.e. my other mac's?
Cause I dunno how to set this up and I need some help. The mini is running SL
is there anyway to do this?
