Hi All,
Longtime reader, first time macrumors poster.
I have a Mac Pro with multiple HDDs holding all sorts of different goodies. I would like to manually set certain hard drives to spin down more quickly than others. Is there any way I can make this work?
I understand the pmset command and that might be the key to making this work but a simple "sudo pmset -a disksleep 20" would, I assume, hold all disks spinning for 20 minutes. There's two disks I'd like to have sleep nearly immediately, and 2 (including the Mac HD) I'd like to have spinning for around 20 minutes before sleeping after inactivity.
Any suggestions? Thanks all!
