Hey,

I am thinking of setting up a mac server. I was thinking of buying a powermac g3 and using that as the server. Anyway i am on wireless on my mac and away form the wireless router and i want the powermac to be in my room with my imac. So my question is how do i set this server up on wireless.

Looking forward to your response,

Just connect to the wireless router as you would any other computer.

It's a good idea though to use a Static IP Address.

Will you be using OSX Server?

It works just as the normal OSX Client works. Just connect it and it should all work.

Yea i will be using mac os x

Thanks
You might have missed the intent of the question... OS X Server is a server version of OS X. It costs $499 and up. There's a good chance you're not using it, nor do you need to. My apologies if you actually are using it.
