Hi,
This is my situation:
I have a Dual-Band Time Capsule, which acts as my base station. I have an AirPort Express (802.11n) which I wanted to use to extend the network of the Time Capsule. I successfully set this up, however I ran into difficulties when using my iPhone 4 on the network. For some reason, the iPhone 4 doesn't connect to the AirPort Express and tries to connect only to the Time Capsule. Even when I'm standing next to the AirPort Express, only get 2 bars of Wi-Fi signal, since it's trying to connect to the Time Capsule (which is farther away). I think this is because the AirPort Express is extending the network at the 5GHz band, and the iPhone 4 only operates at the 2.4GHz band.
How do I force my AirPort Express to only extend the network at the 2.4GHz band, so my iPhone can connect to it?
Thanks!
