It won't work despite my best efforts. I've been using Rogers cable internet service, with a cable modem that detect automatically settings such as IP address through DHCP. Works fine with my 1.5 GHz PowerBook when there's a direct connection from modem to laptop, but doesn't work when the modem is running through AirPort Express.

Now, I installed the software on the CD, it ran through the configuration, I supplied the passwords, went for the 128 security, selected cable modem with automatic DHCP detection... it seems happy during setup, but when it says "Congratulations!" by the end, my AirPort Express is still blinking and I still can't access the internet wirelessly.

Further poking around shows that my AirPort Express thinks my IP address is something like 10.0.0.2, which is... wrong...

So, what's going on and how do I fix it? Thanks guys.

hah...

I pressed the reset button on the thing and did the exact same steps as the first time, and now it works. I don't know what or why, but hey, if it works...
