Setting up an iMac with ATT Uverse

Has anyone done this? I am curious as I would like to purchase a 27" iMac and would like to not have two monitors in my living room. I have searched for about 30 minutes and can't find anything. Also, would the iMac be able to output in 1080p? Thanks for the help.

Are you trying to connect the Uverse cable box directly to the 27" iMac?

If so, I believe there are convertor boxes that allow non-displayport connections like HDMI to connect to the iMac. Search around here for using iMac as TV.
