Setting up Apple Watch on Pre-paid service (Verizon)

Does anyone here have Verizon prepaid cellphone + smartwatch service? If so, can you help me understand what Numbershare is and whether that is in fact what I'm looking for?

I simply want the ability to mirror my iPhone without my iPhone and Apple Watch being near one another. For example, I want to be able to leave my phone at home and go for a run with my Apple Watch and have access to iMessage, WhatsApp, email, and Google Maps.

I also want to be able to ping my iPhone when neither are connected to WiFi or Bluetooth. For example, if I leave my iPhone at the park and I'm too far away for WiFi/Bluetooth, I want to be able to ping my device using a cellular connection.

I see 3 options to setup a smartwatch: NumberShare, Get a new number, and Keep your current number. Given my needs above, which of the 3 services should I opt for?
