Hi all!

I have a Mac Mini and a MacBook Air, and soon I'll be getting an iMac. I also have two kids and a wife, and I'd like to set up some user profiles on the Mac Mini (running the latest Mavericks Server) such that the Kids user group has read access to (some) local as well as shared network resources, can't install anything and so on, while the Parents group has general write access, and that these restrictions would be applied across all three Macs once defined on the Mac Mini. I myself would probably want to be an admin of sorts, don't know if that would warrant a dedicated group or not.

I haven't done anything like this before, so any and all pointers to good and clear instructions as well as general advice are welcome!

Thanks,

Kim
