Dear all,

I'm not a newbie with a Mac but I have this question as I've just ordered my first iMac (I already have a MBP and MBA).

The wife primarily uses the MBP, and this is where all the photos are etc. I use the MBP for work etc. I have admin access to both but my wife doesn't use my MBA.

I would like someone to tell me how to set up my new iMac to include both accounts and whats on both computers, I will have admin on both but they must be seperate i.e. iTunes etc. I also have a Time Capsule

How can I do this please?

Regards

Steve

I believe migration asst should do what you're looking for, in that you should be able to migrate your stuff from the MBP to the new iMac.

If not, just create the accounts as you had done on the MBP and copy the the folders you want from your MBP to the iMac (other then the ~/Library), that is copy the contents of your Documents, Music and various other folders.
