Home Setting up HomeBridge on an old AppleTV first gen?

I have a first generation AppleTV and have been looking for a way to repurpose it. It’s possible to install OSX Tiger on it so I’m thinking of setting up HomeBridge on it to run Nest products on HomeKit.

Is this possible? Will HomeBridge run on Tiger and is it processor heavy? The one downside of running Tiger on an AppleTV is how slow it runs.
